Street Art Outfit

Hey there french fries!

Hope you all had a lovely little break (if you were lucky enough to have one).

A casual outfit for today’s post from yesterday’s outing in St Kilda.

I wanted to keep my outfit a little colourful for lunch in St Kilda last weekend. I paired my usual high rise blue jeans with my white patent New Balance sneakers. Although Cotton On jeans are not the best quality and they don’t last very long, I find that they always fit me really well. Especially their high-rise, 7/8 jeans. They have quite a bit of stretch to them, so I can easily size down to fit my waist and still fit my legs and butt comfortably.

For the top, I combined my cropped red lace t-shirt top from Boohoo with a very cropped purple cami underneath which I bought from Cotton On Body years ago. I usually avoid lacy clothing because I find them itchy. But, this red lace top from Boohoo is actually very soft and comfortable to wear.

As for make up and accessories, I kept them quite simple since it was during the day with some mascara and bronzer and purple lips. I recently bought a new Kat Von D liquid lipstick from Sephora in the shade Ayesha. The formula is super soft and creamy to apply and stays on all day without feeling really dry. The only way is comes off is if you eat oily foods. For someone who likes wearing bright or dark lip colours but is always worried it may rub off weirdly or smudge, this is an easy solution.
