Hey french fries!
It was sunset when we took the photos below, which gave everything in the photo some pretty lighting. The little driveway/laneway was super cute too and such a random find (located next to a parking lot off James St in Windsor). There were colourful, spray painted sneakers hung up with fairy light and lots of street art. Unfortunately, I’m still relatively new to the camera we used and I left the settings I used for long-exposure and the photos came out a tad blurry -.-
Last day of February, which means Autumn is kicking in and flowy dresses, bikinis and short shorts are being put away until next summer (unless you’re one of those lucky ducks out there going on a holiday). I must say though, the hot weather is hanging on this week in Melbourne. 30 degrees almost all week straight…Pretty impressive.
I recently made a little order from Boohoo, which I usually avoid because I find their quality can be hit and miss. But I was after a couple specific things, which I could only find on there. One of the items I picked up was the sheer, black, floral top I’m wearing in the outfit photos. It’s super flowy and loose (which is great when you go out for dinner and you wanna leave room to fill up your tummy).
The sleeves however are quite restraining, as they are closely attached to the main part of the top, so you can’t really move your arms much. The top is actually VERY low cut, but easy to fix with a little safety pin.
Even though it was a bit chilly, I decided to go without a jacket (since it was a bit difficult to wear with that top), but I kept my legs nice and warm with my high rise, black jeans and thigh-high boots – which is one thing I’m looking forward to wearing more of in the colder months ahead.
