A Rainbow Adventure | Let Go Fest.

After that initial sprinkle of glitter, I knew that the day was going to be a rainbow adventure. A day of ups and downs, music, dancing, meeting new people and sparkle.

The rainbow adventure all began in the bathroom of course; where we were squished behind a mirror doing our makeup and bathing in glitter. The more colour and glitter we applied, the more we wanted (I am still finding glitter in my stuff a week later).

By the time we stepped out of that bathroom, we were ready to make our way to the festival. I grabbed my mini mouse back pack, purple lipstick, back up glitter and we were off.

Before we even entered the festival, we could hear music filling the atmosphere and we were already dancing. The sun was shining so bright that day, which made it even easier to lose our way. After dancing our way through rainbow balls and crowds of sparkly humans, we decided to take a break and return when the sun was down to watch RÜFÜS perform.

However, we hit a bump in the road when we returned to the festival and the guards would not let us in. Luckily, with a little help and determination, we sneakily flew over the fence and continued our adventure.

RÜFÜS had started playing, so we dove into the sea of people and swam deeper and deeper until we were as close to the stage as possible. RÜFÜS did not disappoint. I love his sound; magical, chill and fun to dance to. Everyone was so in sync to the beat. His song Like An Animal was stuck in my head for days after…

When RÜFÜS’ performance came to an end, the crowd began to fizzle out slowly but our energy didn’t. We made our way to Main St in Mornington and continued our dancing at a place called The Bay Hotel along with many others who came from the festival.

It was a long and eventful day/night to say the least.
